Comission Info updates.
Hey fellas, just a little update on the comission terms because if forgot to put some things the last time.
Pencils:
For simple sketch, character it's 25$
For Character design 2 versions: 30$
(i don't do inking because with the computer you can make pencil lineart as dark as ink, BUT if you really insist i'll do it. But i have to warn you my inking style is VERY dirty, Blade of the immortal-like dirty)
Colored:
For a character, with solid background: 70$
For character with simple background 80$
Coloring yours or other lineart:
Character with simple or no background: 30$
Scene with complex background: 70$
Scenes with complex backgrounds that will be published fall under the cathegory below.
Full fledged Scene:
100-300$. It depends on the complexity and how many characters you want. (Deadline One week if there isn't any ajustments)
Sending the original art
As of today, I'll not be able to send in the original artwork anymore.
I only sent it to one client, but it turned out more expensive than i imagined due to the spacial packaging to protect the drawing.
So if you were thinking of comissioning me to do something and send you, you can still comission me, and i might do something to compensate the fact that i'll not be able to send you the original lineart.
An explanation on Deadlines
Deadlines are something i'll discuss with you as soon as you send me your pitch.
Because it depends on how much detail and reference you want me to search to do your request.
About Payment - An IMPORTANT UPDATE</> (as of august 2007)
As of this period
I will have to be paid upfront to deliver the comissions upon showing the concept sketches.
I know this is tough on you guys, but due to some people comissioning me and NOT paying me, i cant gamble with this stuff anymore.
I hope you guys will understand. I'm very serioust about money, so dont you guys worry. If i am paid, I DELIVER
I hope this hasn't changed your minds about comissioning me.

So que depende muito da minha "agenda" (se é que posso chamar disso)
O problema é que eu nao tenho como receber aqui no brasil, banco essas coisas e tal.

well, not really.
It's based on how many hours i put on a work like this. And how much research i have to do ^_^.
I usually take 7-9 hours to do a simple colored character with no background. So it's 10$ an hour. Which i think it's fairly good price. ^_^
When it's a scene, it's many hours of work, with lots of research. So it's more expensive. But most people i worked for really liked what they paid for and had nothing to complain ^_^.
