Well
hehe it's been awhile fellas, i know..

But i come with new stuff for you ^_^.

This, is Malfurion Stormrage.
Most of you probably know him, he is a the most poweful night-elf Archdruid, brother if Illidan Stormrage, the betrayer.
And, also, is one of the best character designs i've seen. Even though it's hard being original since he is an elf, it's a matter of personality.
He is one of the most important characters in the Warcraft universe, being that he is probably something like 25.000 years old, he's seen it all.

But, i wanted to make a different rendition of him, not being the ARCHDRUID all powerful, but a gentle teacher and caretaker of the forest.
hahaha I know this is kind of too "cutesy" but druids have a special relation with bears, and i wanted to show that in this piece.
First bear i've ever drawn hehe i think he looks cool ^_^.
I spent a lot of time planning it, because i think Furion, much like Arthas, is a character too important do do a half-assed job on him haha.
The background was what it kept me from posting this before. Because i had used a tottaly different pallet for it. But yesterday i said "screw it, i'm going to change it all". And now, it looks muuuuuch much better than the original version.


So, summing up.
About 9 (12 if you count the time i spent planning it) Hours.
Photoshop CS2 and Painter IX.
All done by me.

Hope you guys dig it ^_^
(I plan on doing some small edits, like putting stars in the sky and lighten the highlights a bit more. but i wont do it today)

I did a bloom effect and improved the saturation/contrast!

Love the thought u put behind this. Digging your heals in to go beyond the GREAT ALL POWERFUL MALFURION. Looking deeper into what makes him realistic. Its not everyday he has to be all great and powerful--so on a normal day hes a teacher. I love it!

even though Malfurion is the most powerful Druid in all of wow he still has a caring and gentle heart, which I think you captured exceptionally well in this art work :)
