FINALLY fellas.
School's out.
And here i am again. With my gift to all oldschool Warcraft players. Who have been playing since the first and second games.
This is a guy that needs an introduction for the younger WoW fans.

This, is Lord Anduin Lothar, The lion of azeroth, Champion of Stormwind, Meanest badassest warrior ever to walk the world. (really!), Supreme commander of the alliance...this guys just ranks up tittles

This guy is the single reason why stormwind today isn't an orc capital.

After the orcs came through the dark portal for the first time (thanks a LOT medivh...sheesh) the first place they laid eyes on was Beautiful Stormwind and elwynn forest.
And still having the demon blood burning through their veins, the unsuspecting stormwind was easy prey.

They siezed it and they liked it a lot.

But a man, and one of the bravest ever, took a group of refugees north. Along with the royal family and a few other famous fellas, he arrived at Lordaeron and there, him and all the other kings of men, elves and dwarves formed THE ALLIANCE OF AZEROTH.

They came back down, and whooped some SERIOUS orc's ass.

But in a battle at Blackrock mountain, He became separated from the main body of his troops in which is perhaps the greatest of all Azeroth's battles. Amid the chaos, he was forced into combat with Orgrim Doomhammer, Warchief of the Horde; Some say that Lothar was defeated in single combat by Doomhammer, others believe that Doomhammer did not win fairly and Lothar was killed after being ambushed by a group of Horde's warriors. Regardless, his blade fell from his dead grasp, though it did not lie for long.

Doomhammer believed that Lothar's death would break the fighting spirit of his forces, but what happened was quite the opposite. After Lothar's death, his most trusted general, Turalyon, took up his shield and led the armies of the Alliance to eventual victory over the Blackrock Spire's defenses, allowing Lothar's old ally and friend, Khadgar, later to destroy the Dark Portal.

Anyway, about the drawing. I just loved it from the get go.
Fun to draw, fun to paint (even though very tiring).

And YES fellas. that IS ashkandi. Which by the way, was one of HIS swords. "The initials A.L. are etched on the hilt."

I drew it differently from the game because i always believed that Blackwing currupted it somehow and made it like it is.
But a friend, came along and crushed my theory ahahah.
But i was too lazy to go back and redraw the whole thing agian.

Anyway
it took me about 8 hours.
All me, Photoshop CS2 and Painter IX.
